We are seeking a motivated and experienced Residential Electrician to join our field team. This role is ideal for a skilled professional who takes pride in diagnosing and resolving electrical issues, performing high-quality installations and repairs, and ensuring every job is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering excellent workmanship while providing a positive and professional customer experience in residential settings. 

What You Will Do:  

• Perform residential electrical service work, including troubleshooting, repairs, and installations 

• Diagnose electrical issues and provide effective, code-compliant solutions for homeowners 

• Inspect electrical systems, wiring, outlets, panels, breakers, switches, and lighting fixtures 

• Complete electrical safety inspections and preventive maintenance services 

• Install, repair, or replace electrical components such as panels, breakers, outlets, lighting, and wiring 

• Communicate findings, repair options, and recommendations clearly and professionally with customers 

• Ensure all work is performed safely and complies with local and national electrical codes (NEC) 

• Maintain accurate service records, job notes, and required documentation 

• Keep company vehicle clean, organized, and fully stocked with tools and materials 

• Deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining professionalism in customers’ homes 

What You Will Bring:  

• 2+ years of experience in residential electrical service required 

• Valid State of Illinois Electrical License or certification (as required by state/local regulations) 

• Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills 

• Solid knowledge of residential electrical systems, components, and safety standards 

• Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently 

• Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach 

• Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver tools, equipment, and materials as needed 

• Professional appearance and positive, can-do attitude 

• Experience using tablets or mobile dispatch/service software is a plus 

• Successfully complete our screening process, including assessments, interviews, background checks, and drug screening 

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
