Now Hiring- Residential Service Electrician
Precision Today is looking for an experienced Residential Service Electrician to join our team in Franklin Park, IL!

We’re looking for electricians with strong residential service experience who is comfortable troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and installing electrical systems in customers’ homes. The right candidate will take pride in their work, communicate well with homeowners, and put safety and quality first.

Responsibilities:

• Perform residential electrical service, repairs, troubleshooting, and installations
• Diagnose electrical issues and recommend safe, code-compliant solutions
• Inspect and service wiring, panels, breakers, outlets, switches, lighting, and other electrical components
• Complete electrical safety inspections and preventative maintenance
• Install, repair, and replace residential electrical components and equipment
• Explain findings, repair options, and recommendations clearly to homeowners
• Follow all applicable safety requirements and electrical codes, including NEC standards
• Complete service notes and required job documentation
• Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked company vehicle
• Provide professional, friendly service in customers’ homes

Qualifications: 

• 2+ years of residential electrical service experience required
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Solid understanding of residential electrical systems and safety standards
• Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to safely lift and maneuver tools, equipment, and materials
• Professional, dependable, and positive attitude
• Experience with ServiceTitan, tablets or field service/dispatch software is a plus
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to successfully complete all required pre-employment screenings, including assessments, interviews, background check, and drug screening (we do not test for cannabis)
