Overview

The primary goal of our Admin Assistant is to act as the gatekeeper of data integrity as it relates to calculating payroll, processing benefits, and other accounting related tasks. They complete commission calculations, work with job costing, and prepare reporting that assists management in making educated decisions. Candidates who will thrive in this role enjoy day-to-day accounting tasks, manipulating data in excel, and improving processes. They are also great at getting details right the first time, being a team player, and staying flexible with department growth.

Schedule              

  • Schedule can be set for an 8-hour day between 6:00am – 8:00am start and 2:30pm – 5:00pm end times
  • Hybrid options can be considered after a training period has been completed

Essential Job Duties

  • Be the gatekeeper of information being entered, imported, and processed in our systems
  • Prepare, calculate, and review information for commissions and payroll processing
  • Assist in day-to-day bookkeeping tasks as needed to support AR and AP processes
  • Assist with weekly data entry and reconciling of job costing spreadsheets
  • Act as a resource for management for questions, data sourcing, and special projects
  • Manage the registration process for all company equipment, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for warranty-related issues, coordinating with vendors and manufacturers for resolution.

Qualifications

    • Valid driver’s license with clean driving and criminal record
    • 2-year degree or equivalent experience
    • 2+ years of experience in working with payroll, accounting, accounts receivable and accounts payable
    • Basic to intermediate understanding of accounting principles
    • Basic to intermediate experience in Sage Intacct
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office with intermediate to advanced experience in Microsoft Excel
    • Able to communicate professionally, clearly, and concisely
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Highly motivated, flexible, and great attitude on life
    • Outgoing personality that blends well with a fast-paced, goal-driven environment
    • Independent work ethic with an ability to collaborate within a team
    • On time and prepared to work before the scheduled start time

  • Assist coworkers with daily responsibilities including but not limited to processing paperwork, sending emails, data entry, speaking with customers to make sure all accounts are kept current and all payments are received

 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • High level of competence with math and calculations
